Jason T. Moss, Esquire is the president at the law firm Moss & Associates, Attorneys P.A., where he focuses exclusively in the areas of litigation and bankruptcy. His firm received the 2003 South Carolina Bar Pro Bono Law Firm of the Year. Mr. Moss earned his Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of South Carolina, Magna Cum Laude, and his Juris Doctor from the University of South Carolina School of Law. He was also elected into the prestigious national honor society Phi Beta Kappa. Mr. Moss is Federally Licensed, a member of the South Carolina Bar, the South Carolina Bankruptcy Law Association and the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys. He has spoken at the South Carolina Bankruptcy Lawyer Association Annual Seminar, The South Carolina Bar and NBI.
Christopher Edwards, the managing attorney for the Greenville office of Moss & Associates, P.A., practices in the areas of bankruptcy and consumer law. Prior to joining Moss & Associates, Mr. Edwards practiced civil litigation and criminal law with Moore, Taylor & Thomas in West Columbia. He earned his A.S., and B.A. degrees from the University of South Carolina and his Juris Doctor from the University of South Carolina School of Law. Mr. Edwards is a member of the South Carolina Bar and the South Carolina Bankruptcy Law Association.
Jane S. Ruschky, a Columbia native, is a member of the South Carolina Bar and the South Carolina Bankruptcy Law Association. Prior to joining Moss & Associates, Attorneys, P.A., in 2007, Ms. Ruschky was an assistant solicitor for the 5th Judicial Circuit of South Carolina (Richland and Kershaw Counties) for nearly five years, specializing in drug prosecution. In 2002, she earned a Juris Doctor from the University of South Carolina School of Law, serving as an editor for the South Carolina Environmental Law Journal and a member of Phi Delta Phi. In 1999, she earned a Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of South Carolina.
Heather S. Bailey, the managing attorney for the Charleston office, has been working with Moss & Associates, Attorneys P.A., since 2006. She obtained her Juris Doctor from the Charleston School of Law in 2010 and passed the SC Bar in February 2011. Moreover, while completing her legal studies at the Charleston School of Law, she was featured in the television series "Crowned" which was nationally televised on the CW network, she also studied abroad focusing on International Law at the University of Amsterdam in 2009. Miss Bailey is a member of the South Carolina Bar, the South Carolina Bankruptcy Law Association and the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys.
Jennifer B. Honeycutt obtained her Juris Doctor from The Charleston School of Law, Cum Laude, where she received the CALI Award for Excellence in consumer bankruptcy. In 2006, she graduated from the University of South Carolina with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and was a member of Alpha Chi Omega. Prior to attending law school, she was a paralegal specializing in worker's compensation and has worked in law firms since the age of 18.
Andrew L. Brener earned his Juris Doctorate from the Charleston School of Law in May of 2013. There, he was elected to the Student Bar Administration and was a member of the Phi Delta Phi Honors Legal Fraternity. During his legal studies, Mr. Brener worked at the Charleston office of Moss & Associates, Attorneys, P.A., clerked for the Honorable James A. Turner, and was awarded the Ackerman Fellowship for pro bono work. Mr. Brener - a Charleston native who attended the Porter Gaud School and Brewster Academy - received his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Guilford College where he was awarded the Freeman Grant for East Asian Studies, allowing him to study in Beijing, China. Upon graduation, Andrew moved to Kunming, China.
Roger K Pruitt, is a Paralegal with the law firm, Moss & Associates, P.A., where our focus is exclusively centered on the area of bankruptcy. Roger began working for Moss & Associates in March 2001 and worked for the law firm in both the Columbia and Florence offices until August 2005 when Reed Law Firm split from the law firm. There he was the lead paralegal for the law firm in the Florence, South Carolina office. Roger returned to Moss & Associates in March 2013 and has continued to work for the law firm in both the Columbia and Charleston offices ever since. Prior to working for Moss & Associates, Roger was the bankruptcy representative for American General Finance and has worked in the bankruptcy field for the past 20 years. Roger further earned his Bachelor Degree in History from Ashford University in 2010 and his Master Degree in History from the University of Nebraska at Kearney in 2013. Roger is also presently working on his Juris Doctor at Charleston School of Law with a projected graduation date of August 2018. While in law school Roger has served as the Treasurer of the Federal Bar Association-Student Division. Roger is married and has 5 children, with his son, Cameron, also working for Moss & Associates. In his spare time, when he has any, he likes to play baseball with the Columbia Saturday Baseball League, and do things with his family.
